Monstera Leaf Wire Earrings

Did you know that you can make any shape with just a little bit of aluminum wire!? Just print out the shape you want to make take your wire and make that shape. You don’t need a certain set of skills or know how to get it done!

I love leaves anyway but a Monstera Leaf has a place in my heart since it’s easily noticed between other leaves.

Step 1: Prepare the Template and Wire

Print the Monstera leaf template and use it as a guide. Cut the 12-gauge wire to fit the shape, smoothing any kinks. Start at the loop of the leaf, bending the wire to follow the template. Don’t worry about precision—feel free to make the design your own!

Step 2: Shape the Leaf

Use a mix of pliers and your fingers to bend the wire into the iconic Monstera leaf shape. Wrap the wire ends tightly to secure the design, pressing down any sharp edges for a smooth finish.

Step 3: Create the Earring Hook

With the 16-gauge wire, make a loop for the earring hook. Attach the leaf to the loop, then use pliers to close it securely. Shape the wire with a Sharpie to create a comfortable hook, ensuring it aligns with the design.

Finishing Touches

Trim any excess wire and check for comfort. Adjust the shape as needed, and your beautiful Monstera earrings are ready to wear!
